Currently only one species appears to be identified in this genus by the RHS - Ascocentropsis pusillum - which was formerly classifed within Ascocentrum. Ascocentropsis means "like Ascocentrum", but some of the plant's structure is inconsistent with Ascocentrum and it was later allocated its own genus. |
