Cattleyas are often called the "corsage", "chocolate box" or "window-sill" orchid, the latter because many grow very well on bright window sills. They come in all sizes, from miniatures to very large, and in a huge range of colours. They hybridise readily with other closely related genera like Brassia; Laelia and Sophronitis. |
