A genus of, mainly, cool-growing, mostly terrestrial, orchids some of which may become quite large plants. A few species are warmer-growing, or more temperature-tolerant. These tend to be the smaller species, and they are also more likely to be epiphytic and have pendant flower spikes than their larger cousins. |
